Intelligence, Not Just Automation

AI Design Agents that redefine how brands create packaging art from concept to production

What is RangeXT?

Built as an Adobe Illustrator extension, RangeXT is an interactive AI agentic assistant that significantly reduces art adaptation time.

Open your file, tell your agent what you want to achieve, and let RangeXT intelligently restructure your design; delivering production-ready options you can refine. Because all this happens natively within Adobe Illustrator, you remain in complete control.

Agentic Era of Packaging

Built for speed & accuracy.

Everybody wins.

With our simple Adobe Illustrator extension, RangeXT slashes the cost of artwork changes for anyone who manages or produces art files — bringing speed, efficiency, and accuracy to the art adaptation process.

Evaluate the impact of changes to a layout

Create alternate versions in seconds

Adapt art files with ease

Adjust art to new die lines

It's smart,
and getting smarter.

Intelligence you can trust.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my artwork files stored?

RangeXT does not retain any artwork files. All files are stored on your local drive or your company's DAM.

Can other RangeXT users see my artwork files?

No. Your artwork files remain on your local computer, and no other customer can access your data.

What applications does RangeXT support?

RangeXT is designed to function as an extension of Adobe Illustrator.

Does RangeXT support CMYK, spot colors, and other print-production color systems?

Yes. RangeXT is purpose-built for packaging and print workflows in Adobe Illustrator. It preserves the color systems your production process depends on — including CMYK process colors, spot colors, global swatches, and gradients — so generated and adapted artwork stays press-ready rather than being collapsed to a generic RGB output.

How are credits applied?

Credits are deducted automatically when you perform actions in RangeXT that consume AI and cloud resources, such as processing files and running the agentic workflow. Your credit balance is visible in your account dashboard so you can track usage in real time.

What happens to my unused credits?

Unused credits in your account expire at the end of each month. Expiration rules and renewal allocations are shown in your account settings console.

How can I cancel my subscription?

After 90 days from account activation, you can cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days’ notice.

What does my subscription cover?

Your subscription provides access to the Service via the RangeXT extension along with a monthly allocation of usage credits. These credits allow you to process files and run supported applications within the Service. Subscription plans may also include additional features such as priority processing, larger file limits, and enhanced support.

Is an Enterprise version available?

Yes. Enterprise deployments can include custom agentic skills and tools as well as licensing tailored to team or organizational usage.

Is RangeXT Secure?

RangeXT is built to meet enterprise security and compliance expectations by combining secure cloud infrastructure with AI-native governance.

Reproducibility vs. Creative Variability

LLMs are inherently non-deterministic, so outputs can vary between runs. However, RangeXT uses Skills and Blueprints to constrain and guide the AI, making adaptation tasks much more predictable and consistent.

For regulated artwork, Skills and Blueprints are the recommended approach. Users can also instruct the agent to leave illustrations unchanged when reproducibility is required.

Re-running an Adaptation for Audit Purposes

Each adaptation is a new AI execution rather than a replay of a previous run. However, Skills and Blueprints significantly reduce variability and make results much more predictable.

RangeXT maintains system-level performance logs but does not retain artwork files or execution histories in a way that allows a specific adaptation to be replayed or recalled later.

Liability for Incorrect Output

RangeXT is an agentic assistance tool and does not assume responsibility for final artwork approvals. Responsibility for reviewing, validating, and approving output remains with the customer and the user who signs off on the artwork.

Exporting Agent Reasoning

The real-time reasoning panel is intended to provide transparency during execution. Reasoning traces cannot be saved, exported, or retrieved after a session ends.

Ownership and Management of Custom Skills

APS develops all Skills and Blueprints as a professional service.

Customers provide requirements, APS builds the solution, and the customer owns the resulting deliverable. Any future updates or modifications would be managed through APS to ensure quality and consistency. All requested Skills and Blueprints are quoted and priced in advance of any development, according to their complexity.

Cost of Custom Skills

Custom Skills are typically delivered as a professional services engagement. Customers define the requirements, APS scopes the work, and a quote is provided.

Depending on the size and duration of the subscription agreement, Skill development may be included as part of an enterprise package.

Language Support

Users can already perform translation and language-related tasks through prompting. However, output quality may vary depending on the complexity of the request.

For higher accuracy and consistency, APS can develop custom Skills tailored to a brand’s language and localization requirements.

Complex Scripts and Non-Latin Languages

Current LLMs primarily operate on Unicode text. Standard left-to-right and right-to-left languages are generally supported, while more complex mixed-direction scenarios can be challenging.

Text rendering and glyph handling are managed by Illustrator and the underlying text layout systems rather than the LLM itself.

Supported File Types

RangeXT works with any artwork that Adobe Illustrator can import and edit.

Currently, the agent can only work with content that exists as editable Illustrator objects. Text embedded within flattened raster images cannot be interpreted or modified. OCR-based capabilities are being evaluated for future releases.
